Chinese medicines found containing western ingredients

The maximum penalty for selling fake medicine is a fine of NT$5 million and a seven years imprisonment, the DOH said.The DOH cautioned the public not to buy Chinese medicines of unknown origin and to throw away fake medicines as soon as possible.
