Octogenarian BB King only getting better with age

Williams exuded old-school charm in his crushed velvet pinstripe suit and delivered a very short but rousing set of gospel-tinted fare.

Montgomery is somewhat of a local celebrity, having attended Boston University in the late ’60s while simultaneously launching his musical career on the New England coffeehouse circuit.With an able trio behind him, he treated the crowd to a be-bop styled version of “Schoolin’ Them Dice,” which he recorded back in 1974, and a substantially gritty “Who Do You Love?

” that’d definitely get George Thorogood’s attention.
