...The agency said it had 38 reports of blindness caused by NAION among Viagra users, four with Cialis, and one with Kindra Strupp, a spokesperson for Eli Lilly, maker of Cialis, noted that other limitations of the current study included its reliance on patient recall of medical history and details, potential interviewer bias, and that the study population included only patients who were treated for eye-related disorders.

The company will continue to work with regulatory agencies to examine this issue, she said.

A spokesperson for Pfizer, the manufacturer of Viagra, was not immediately available for comment.

Because of that, he could not kow-tow to what he no doubt sensed different senators wanted of him - often simply to be a clone of the distinguished jurist he will replace, Sandra Day O'Connor.
